I’m a child of Korean immigrants, and now a father of three children of my own.

So believe me when I say this race is deeply personal.

I’m running because I want my kids to grow up in the same California that led so many immigrants to plant roots here, including my parents.

A California where everyone has a shot at the American Dream.

A California where we prioritize building a better future for our children.

A California where we embrace diversity, tolerance, and opportunity for all.

That’s why I’m not afraid to take on Trumpian Republicans and their dangerous policies.

Winning this competitive race won’t be easy. But I’m not one to back down from a challenge. As the only Korean American currently serving in the California State Legislature, I’ve spent my career fighting for AAPI communities.

– I have participated in over 200 events on anti-Asian hate.

– I authored a resolution to denounce hateful rhetoric and acts against the AAPI community.

– And I worked to pass a historic investment in the AAPI community.

Now, I want to bring that fight to Congress.
