A new report came out with unfortunate news about our fight to end the era of fossil fuels...
Every single environmental non-profit in the report saw a DECREASE in fundraising last year.1
Unfortunately, here at 350.org, we were not immune to this trend...
While top oil companies and the fossil fuel industry raked in record profits in excess of $219,000,000,000,2 our fundraising took a hard hit this year.
Here's the good news: we can reverse this trend and make 2023 a record year for our climate movement. We can invest in climate resiliency and renewable energy for our communities. We can make a stand against the greed of fossil fuel companies. And we can organize for a better world and healthier climate — together.
One area where our climate movement is stronger than anyone else is with the people. We saw more people make a donation last year than ever before. But for a number of reasons — the economy being a big one — those donations were smaller than before too.
That's OK. And here's why: the power of our movement comes from the number of people on our side, not the dollar signs they come with. Because when enough people stand together to end the era of fossil fuels, ANYTHING is possible.
