Over the last couple weeks we’ve heard a lot of talk about debt ceiling negotiations. Republicans in Congress want budget cuts. They haven’t put forward anything final yet, but some have suggested cuts to Medicare and to Medicaid. Cuts to Social Security.

Cuts to these programs sound scary for a lot of people. I get that, and I’m always going to stand up for them.

But I need your help to do it.

We’ve gotta be able to get our message out there, we’ve gotta be able to fight back, and a big part of that is the donations you make to my campaign. We may have won in November, but there’s still a lot of work to do.

So, if you’re still with us, and if you can afford it, a donation of $3 before our end-of-month deadline at midnight tonight would mean a lot to me. It’ll go a long way towards fighting back, and we’ll make sure to put each dollar to work.
