Friend,, UnKoch My Campus and Generation Common Good are teaming up to offer a FREE six week student organizer training! Selected students will be trained to use belonging, culture, and storytelling to build intergenerational coalitions across differences, and prepare to mobilize, intervene, and transform society for the common good. We’ll do so by learning how to follow corporate money, map power on campus, tell persuasive stories to get messaging across, and center community-based solutions! We’ll focus on environmental, human rights, economic, and social impacts associated with corporatization and privatization of education and campus communities. Before the training is over, participants will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in the creation of their own campaign, with the support of UnKoch My Campus and the Generation Common Good team. This training is intended for students who are newer to organizing and who may not have leadership positions in their campaigns yet, but are ready to become more involved.
