We’ve been here before. I was on Team Sherrod in 2012 and 2018 when our grassroots campaign overcame attacks from opponents, Washington Republican groups, and dark money groups.

But I’m worried.

It’s only February 2023 and here is just some of what we’re already facing:

1. Both the Cook Political Report and Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball have rated our race as a toss-up.
2. A McConnell-affiliated PAC has already launched multiple attack ads against Sherrod.
3. CNN said Ohio is one of the Senate seats most likely to flip.

February is a short month which means we have less time to reach our monthly fundraising goals -- and reaching our goals is how we fight off special interest attacks and set our campaign up for success. 

So I’m asking: will you chip in before the February fundraising deadline at midnight tonight?
