I’m honored and humbled to wake up every day and go to work for the people of Pennsylvania. Serving as Governor is a responsibility I take seriously and don’t take for granted.

That’s why from day one, we got to work to make sure Pennsylvania is a place where everyone has the real freedom they deserve. We’ve taken real steps forward to open the doors of opportunity to workers, and we’ve fought to protect our fundamental civil rights.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. But what we’re doing here in Pennsylvania couldn’t be more different than what we’re seeing Republicans try to do in DC. The new House Majority has already tried to restrict abortion rights, give tax breaks to the wealthy and some even want to gut Social Security and Medicare.

No matter what partisan fighting goes on in DC, I’ll always fight to make progress for the issues we care about. But Pennsylvania is always a battleground, and we need to do everything we can to make sure it stays blue for years to come.
