Governor DeSantis visited New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia to meet with the men and women of law enforcement to discuss Florida’s commitment to law and order. Florida's battle-tested blueprint for governance has produced tangible results for Floridians that can be a model for communities around the country.
We are a nation of laws. Restoring law and order must be a priority.
Under Governor DeSantis’ leadership, Florida has fought back, more than any other state, against Biden’s Border Crisis. He introduced a landmark proposal to continue protecting Floridians from further harm.
Governor DeSantis’ proposal will:
☑️ Increase penalties for human smuggling
☑️ Remove loopholes currently in a statute that allow illegal aliens to be released from ICE detention
☑️ Requires ALL employers in Florida to use E-Verify to determine employment eligibility
☑️ Require individuals to affirm they are United States citizens and legal residents of Florida when they register to vote
☑️ Eliminate out-of-state tuition fee waivers for undocumented immigrant students
Governor DeSantis will continue to act to protect the people of Florida as the federal government turns a blind eye to this unmitigated crisis, and Governor DeSantis will use all resources at our disposal to keep Floridians safe.
Governor DeSantis met with leaders in the school board reform movement to lay out his 2024 Florida school board strategy. The Governor rolled out a target list of 14 school board members as he continues to protect students and parents from woke ideologies infiltrating schools.
Governor DeSantis works tirelessly to prioritize students and parents – building the model for how the nation should champion parental rights.

The First Lady DeSantis announced Florida’s new Cancer Connect Collaborative – an effort to break down long-standing silos between researchers, cancer facilities and medical providers.
