We spend most of our time researching public policy and pressing legal issues, working with Dem AG offices on how to amplify and uplift their work, and preparing Dem AG candidates to take on the big issues facing their states. We’re proud to have had the opportunity to support and help elect so many qualified Dem AGs who take public policy seriously and pose creative legal and policy solutions to some of the biggest problems we face today, from protecting abortion to reforming our criminal justice system. Take someone like Andrea Campbell for example, who was sworn in as AG in Massachusetts last month. She’s already redefining the role her office can play in taking on issues like corruption in government by creating a new team in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office to mount investigations of public officials suspected of embezzlement.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
