We’re just hours away from our end-of-month fundraising deadline, so I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why this month’s goal is so important.

I’m writing to you from the car right now, where we’re currently finishing up our first California for All tour around our great state.

Since launching our campaign for U.S. Senate last month, our team has worked nonstop to build the resources and campaign to reach every single voter in our nation’s largest state. (That’s more than 21 million voters!)

Our work is already paying off: A new poll from the LA Times has our campaign slightly in the lead — with many more than 40% of the electorate still up for grabs.

We’re building a movement we can all be proud of. Our campaign doesn’t accept a dime of corporate PAC money — making it all the more important we can grow our grassroots digital fundraising. This is our first full month since jumping in the race, so it’s important we start off our campaign on the right foot.
