Moms Demand Action will be at the Texas Capitol tomorrow fighting for common sense gun laws. Amplify their voices by calling your Texas House and Senate representatives and demanding action on gun laws!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 February, call your Texas House and Senate representatives and let them know you support common sense gun laws!

Tell them you support:

• Universal background checks

• Raising the age to 21 for semi-automatic rifles, and

• Red flag laws

And Texans WANT these changes:

• 86% of Texas voters support background checks on all gun sales

• 80% of Texas voters support raising the purchase age to 21 for semi-automatic rifles

• 83% of Texas voters support red flag laws

Some facts:

• There’s been a 91% increase in gun homicides 2011-2020

• 4,613 people died from gun violence in Texas in 2021 alone

• Firearms are the #1 cause of death for children and teens

• Every 2 hours someone in Texas dies by a firearm
