Did you hear about Mark Houck’s court case? 

Mark is a husband, dad of seven children, co-founder and president of a ministry for men, and a regular pro-life sidewalk counselor in Pennsylvania. His home was abruptly raided by the FBI in September 2022, and he was arrested in front of his wife and children.

His crime? Protecting his son from an anti-abortion activist who was verbally assaulting him outside the abortion center. 

Mark faced up to 11 years in prison for protecting his son. 

I sat down with Mark and his wife, Ryan-Marie, to discuss why his case ended up in federal court and their experience. I was so inspired by their peaceful and courageous disposition throughout the entire trial, and I think you will be, too.

John, it’s deeply concerning how the pro-abortion Biden administration is targeting peaceful pro-life counselors like Mark instead of addressing the increasing violence from abortion advocates against pregnancy resource centers.

However, Mark’s legal victory is a cause for celebration for the entire pro-life movement. As you hear in this interview, the Houck victory was not just because of what Mark did, but because of who he is, who his family is, and who his friends are. 

Mark’s story reminds us to be bold in our fight for life and to be people of high integrity always. No matter what, we can always be at peace because we know the truth is on our side.
