Here are two of my biggest takeaways.
John, the LA Times recently released a poll for our race. Right now, we’re just two points behind the frontrunner. But here are two of my biggest takeaways:
- We’re leading by nine points in Orange County, the area I currently represent in Congress. This proves that when voters learn more about who I am and how I fight for working people, we earn their support. But there are millions of voters throughout the state who I still need to introduce myself to, and that’s where your donations come in.
- Nearly HALF of Democrats and nonpartisan voters haven’t yet decided who they’re supporting. The good news is we have a whole year to reach Californians—at in-person events, through door-knocking and phone-banking and texting, and through television and digital ads.
I’m the only candidate in this race who has never taken a dime from corporate PACs. Your donations will truly make a difference in what is shaping up to be a close and competitive race. Our end of month deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and any donation you can make will help us reach the millions of undecided voters whose support we need to earn.
