House Republicans are playing games, and walking back comments they’ve made on the record. Make no mistake, they plan to cut Social Security and Medicare, and hold our country – and our democracy – hostage.
They’ll do whatever it takes just to score a few political points, no matter the consequences.
But I’m focused on defending our progress and delivering for you. As a Chief Deputy Whip for the Democratic Caucus, I’m fighting to deliver on our promises and hold the line against GOP obstruction.
