Diana started her February as the newly appointed Democratic ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Energy, Climate and Grid Security. In just this month, she's already sponsored a bill to lower Coloradans' energy costs and provide relief to low-income households.

As one of the leading voices and co-chair of the House Pro-Choice Caucus, Diana continued her work to pass the EACH Act in Congress – a bill dedicated to making abortion services more accessible and affordable – and the Women's Health Protection Act. In the face of extremist attacks, she knows we can't let up the fight for choice.

Finally, Diana has never been afraid to stand up against the gun lobby, and that's why she introduced a national ban on high-powered firearms and high-capacity magazines. She is ready to continue fighting for this bill and other legislation to end America's gun violence epidemic.
