It’s time to lead with love
Speaking candidly, John:
I’m sick and tired of watching Republicans trample on the legislation our communities urgently need.
When you’ve lived out of a car with your small children, you know that affordable housing isn’t just a good idea, it’s a human right.
When you’ve seen your community lose lives to police violence, you know that we need transformative change that radically reimagines our systems of public safety, but an urgent call to save Black lives.
When you’ve been forced to decide between affording groceries and utilities — when you’ve been forced to eat expired food from the shelves of a food pantry — you know that the “handouts” Republicans keep attacking are life-saving policies for families.
These are the struggles that so many of us have lived.
These struggles are why I ran for office and why I’m working every day to create a new kind of politics rooted in love and compassion.
And these struggles demand that our team never skips out on an opportunity to educate, mobilize, and raise awareness. In order to achieve legislative victories and build a strong, progressive coalition — we have to set ambitious goals and meet them. Our February fundraising goal is no exception.
Will you help us meet our goal with a contribution today?

The challenges we face right now in Congress — from Republican-controlled Congress, to the Jim Crow filibuster, to the dark money funding too many of our elected officials’ campaigns — have made it clear that it’s going to take a widespread, grassroots effort to bring these transformative policies to life.
If you’re with me in this movement, will you chip in $5 or anything you can so we can continue growing our progressive movement and pass the change our communities need?
