Extended heat waves and widespread droughts have fueled deadly wildfires in California, Australia and elsewhere. Catastrophic hurricanes have devastated the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and other fragile island and coastal habitats. Extreme rainfalls are causing widespread flooding and sending pollution into our waterways and oceans.

And everywhere animals are paying the price: From orcas to polar bears, they’re suffering from damaged habitat, less food, and more disease.

But the Trump administration has weakened or revoked dozens of regulations designed to protect our wildlife and environment, including the all-important Endangered Species Act – and now it’s taking aim at another bedrock law, the National Environmental Policy Act.
