Houston summers are hot, and this July was no exception. Despite the heat, our campaign persevered and made incredible progress:
A. We knocked on 6,554 doors, called 32,686 folks, and texted 5,384 Houstonians.
B. We participated in the screening process of organizations across the city and have already been awarded two key endorsements: the ACEC Houston PAC representing Houston’s engineers, and the IMPACT PAC, which supports Indian-American candidates across the country.
C. We were also proud to receive the official support of Congressman Joaquin Castro who said “Raj is a proven leader that cares deeply about public service and the City of Houston.”
Beyond all these accomplishments, our campaign is focused on remaining accessible for all Houstonians. That means, we will visit every single super neighborhood and we will block walk or phone bank every single precinct, and we will never host a fundraiser with a ticket price to enter.
However, we do have one final goal for July. We need to raise $5,000 before the end of the month. Can you help us reach this goal by donating $5, $10, or whatever amount you can?
