As we wrap up Black History Month, we want to take this opportunity to recognize our very own groundbreaking voice for Black lives, Rep. Shontel Brown.

FIRST: Shontel crafted and passed bipartisan legislation declaring racism a public health crisis as a Cuyahoga County Councilmember.

THEN: She made history as the first woman and first Black person to lead Ohio’s largest Democratic party, the Cuyahoga County Democrats.

NOW: She’s fighting for Black lives every day as the Representative for Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.

Shontel has always worked to uplift Black voices, and right now, we need to make sure she has the resources to continue that work in the House.

We’re up against an end-of-month deadline as we close out Black History Month, and Shontel needs your support to ensure she continues to have a seat at the table. Can we count on you to give $10 or whatever you can to make sure we meet our end-of-month goal?
