Delegate Lamont Bagby is your Democratic nominee for the Virginia Senate in SD-09! Del. Bagby is running to fill the seat of his friend, Congresswoman-elect Jennifer McClellan, in a seat that was also held by his late mentor, Congressman Donald McEachin.

As Chair of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, Lamont has fought for Virginians every step of his journey in elected office. He’s ready to take the next step and represent the people of the Ninth Senate District.
