Sound waves. Sonic Clutter. These words may not mean anything to you. But it is the rhythm and blues in our workplace.
Team, I'm Fred Gifford, the Director of Geospatial Analytics at All On The Line. I lead a team of mapping experts that work with our organizers and volunteers to analyze and understand maps as they are released throughout the redistricting process.
Because it's a new year, people think redistricting is over, but my team is as busy as ever. Our team of experts are working continuously to develop mapping tools and analysis that will help our organizers mobilize communities across the country as redraws take place in states like Texas, North Carolina, and Ohio.
Bri and the rest of our North Carolina team are preparing for a busy few weeks ahead of the rehearing of the Harper v. Hall decision and the legislature preparing to redraw the maps. So they asked for some analysis on the court maps from our team of experts.
This kind of insight helps our team know which communities could be impacted and where to turn volunteers out to advocate for fair representation.
The bottom line is that our work can only happen with your help. So if you're ready to commit to ending gerrymandering and make sure we have the resources necessary to keep folks like you involved, will you make a $25 or more end-of-the-month donation to All On The Line today?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | |
Thank you for everything you do to help us keep up the fight for fair maps!
