John, I wanted to personally share some great news with you!

Because of your support, EMILYs List made crucial headway in our fight against the anti-choice agenda, including two HUGE wins for our endorsed candidates in Virginia and Wisconsin:

> Rep.-elect Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) made history as the FIRST Black woman elected to represent Virginia in Congress.

> Pro-choice Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Judge Janet Protasiewicz made clear where she stood on reproductive rights in her campaign. And in Tuesday's non-partisan primary, she handily won more votes than her two conservative opponents combined.

These victories are a testament to the power of each EMILYs List community member and our candidates' strength. But they are also a reminder that early money matters, especially now. With so much at stake, we need your support to help elect Democratic pro-choice women to office and fight for the issues that matter most to women and families across the country.

If we're going to continue to win at the ballot box, we CANNOT afford to keep being outraised by anti-choice opponents. That's why EMILYs List set a critical goal to raise another $175,000 this month to close the gap, but right now, we're falling short of what we need to win.

So, John, I'm asking you to contribute here and now: Will you rush a donation now -- whatever you can spare before our End-of-Month deadline -- to recruit and help elect Democratic pro-choice women who will fight for our reproductive freedom?

When I founded EMILYs List back in 1985, I knew that moving our country forward meant electing more Democratic pro-choice women, but it was clear that supporters would be the backbone of this movement -- and that remains true today.
