Hi John,
Earlier this month, Republican leaders in the Texas State House announced they’d push school vouchers through the TX Lege — no matter the cost to our kids or Texas school teachers.
Meanwhile,
the majority of Texans oppose school vouchers if it means reducing the amount of funds available to the local public schools¹ ([link removed]) . And, public school teacher salaries in Texas lag behind the national average by more than $7,500² ([link removed]) !
Rather than invest in our public education, the Texas GOP is trying to bankrupt it.
Let’s show Texas teachers that Mothers Against Greg Abbott has their backs: Sign your name to stand with Texas Educators in the face of these blatant GOP attacks on public education → ([link removed])
