I wanted to send a quick note before the end of the weekend.

Launching this campaign has been something I will never forget. The response has exceeded every single expectation I could have had.

Like, I grew up poor. Sleeping on the floor or on a couch. I had a single mom. Statistically speaking, I am far more likely to have ended up in prison than in Congress.

It’s amazing. Thank you.

But right now, my goal is to end this first full month of the campaign with as many donations as we can possibly get. To me, the number of donations is just as important as the amount we raise.

So please? Cause every donation leads to another — and each leads to more endorsements and brings us closer to winning.
