There are three key things you need to know about this race before our February deadline:
- Gabe’s opponent, former far-right extremist Rep. Yvette Herrell, has already filed to run for this House seat again in a 2024 rematch, and last time, we only won by 1,350 votes.
- Cook Political Report has already named NM-02 a top TOSS-UP race in 2024, indicating this will once again be one of the closest and most critical House races in the country.
- The NRCC is passing out a list of their top targets, and Gabe is one of them. If we’re going to take back the House majority, we can’t afford to lose this seat.
This Tuesday, February 28, is our campaign’s second deadline of the year, and we’re still short on reaching our goal.
