This week, progressive judge Janet Protasiewicz won the 4-way Wisconsin Supreme Court primary and moved forward to the general election on April 4. If she wins, there will be a progressive majority on the Court for the first time in years.

NBC News reports that this race is "all but certain to shape abortion rights in the state and could help decide who wins the crucial battleground in the 2024 presidential election."

Judge Protasiewicz' Republican opponent Dan Kelly supports Wisconsin’s heinous, near-total abortion ban law and would almost certainly uphold Wisconsin's grossly gerrymandered district maps. He should not be on the state Supreme Court.

This could be a watershed moment with national impacts, but Dan Kelly has the backing of billionaire donors and hordes of extremists who voted for Trump are ready to vote for him.
