ATTENDED THE STATE OF THE UNION WITH CHIEF KIRK FRANCIS:
Earlier this month, Jared attended the State of the Union, and brought Penobscot Nation Chief Kirk Francis as his guest. Jared and Chief Francis have worked closely together on fighting for the Wabanaki tribes in Maine to receive the same federal benefits available to other tribal governments across the country.

CONFIRMED TO VITAL COMMITTEES IN CONGRESS:
Jared was confirmed to the House Small Business Committee and the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) for the 118th Congress. From his position on these two vital committees, Jared plans to build on his work to grow existing businesses in Maine’s Second District, bring back more jobs to our region, expand our national security, and fight for our country’s servicemen and women.

MET WITH SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS IN KENNEBEC VALLEY:
Jared was recently hosted by Katie Doherty, the President of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, for a small business roundtable in Kennebec Valley. Members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Augusta Downtown Alliance Boards attended to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in Maine with Jared.
