John, Voto Latino is laser-focused on registering and mobilizing young Latinos in key battleground states across the country. A few key stats demonstrate why we're all-in on this strategy:
Young voters in general — and young Latinos in particular — overwhelmingly support Democrats.
Last November, voters under 30 favored Democratic candidates over Republicans by nearly 30 points. And our research shows young Latinos are particularly energized by issues like protecting reproductive freedom and tackling gun violence.
The population of young, voting-age Latinos in battleground states is growing exponentially.
Before the next presidential election, 4.1 million young Latinos will turn 18. In Arizona alone, 163,000 Latinos will reach voting age — that's more than ten times President Biden's 2020 margin of victory in that state!
But currently, voters under 30 vote at a lower rate than any other age group.
While young people are more likely to support Democrats, they're also less likely to show up to vote. Only half of all eligible voters under 30 cast a ballot in the 2020 election, and turnout was even lower in certain battleground states like Texas.
That's why Voto Latino is committed to increasing youth turnout so we can elect leaders who will represent our communities. Every $24 we raise helps us reach one more young Latino in a swing state — how many voters can you help us activate?

States like Texas may look solidly red, but the truth is that GOP politicians depend on low youth turnout to maintain their power there. As one political science professor put it, “If young voters voted at the same rate as those who are 65 and older, the Republican Party would not be in control of many of the current states in which they’re in control.”
We have the power to change that, John!
Our proven model of registering and mobilizing young Latinos works. More than 75% of the voters we register turn out to cast a ballot — and, in 2020, the number of voters we registered in states like Arizona and Georgia exceeded President Biden's margin of victory.
Together, we can do in states in Texas what we've already done in Arizona and Georgia. Will you pitch in now to help us reach young voters and build Latino political power for years to come?
Thank you!
— Voto Latino
