Friend — We’re facing an unprecedented number of attacks from extremist officials all across the country. We already know of fights in 4 states where extremist state legislators are coming after the ballot box in hopes of making it harder or impossible to pass ballot measures before an abortion measure could ever make its way in front of voters.

In Ohio → A 60% supermajority measure (like Amendment C in South Dakota that we defeated last year!) could appear in front of voters as early as November. 

In Oklahoma → A measure could appear before voters that would make it significantly harder to collect signatures and qualify a measure to appear on the ballot.

In Missouri → The State House has passed legislation that would require a 60% supermajority to approve a voter-driven constitutional amendment.

AND, in Florida → A state that already has a 60% supermajority to pass ballot measures, a 67% SUPERmajority could make its way in front of voters as soon as this year. 

We can and MUST be ready to fight back. Ballot measures have become one of our best tools at the state level to restore reproductive freedom. Now, anti-abortion extremists want to strip us of our rights.
