I'm reaching out to respectfully ask if you can make a $5 contribution to my campaign before midnight. 

Allow me to briefly explain why:

The end of February means there’s just one month until we will have to submit our first fundraising report to the FEC since I was elected to Congress. Lots of people -- from the GOP and special interests to potential opponents -- will look closely through our report to see if we have what it takes to win in IL-17 once again. 

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 in online donations by the end of February to stay on pace. And here’s the key: If we meet our monthly goals, our FEC numbers will send a clear message about the strength behind our movement. That will put us in a good early position to defend this seat.

Please use this link to contribute to our re-election campaign before midnight tonight. Any amount helps, but $5 will go a long way.

As a reminder, the Republicans’ campaign committee (the NRCC) has already put it in writing that IL-17 is one of their top few target districts in 2024 – they’re working overtime trying to flip this seat. There’s no doubt that soon enough, GOP dark money will start pouring into this race – making our grassroots fundraising efforts – right now – all the more important.
