I’m reaching out today to ask you to join me in supporting Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin. I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why our support — especially right now — is so important to her campaign’s success.
Tammy’s been on the front lines of the fight to guarantee health care for ALL Americans, and she championed the Respect for Marriage Act to protect LGBTQ and interracial marriages nationwide. We can’t afford to lose her voice in the U.S. Senate.
But political forecasters are already predicting that Wisconsin will be one of the most competitive Senate races in the country in 2024. President Biden won Wisconsin by just 0.6% in 2020, and last year Republican Senator Ron Johnson won by just 1%.
So Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are going to pour millions of dollars into Wisconsin to take her seat — and the Democratic Senate majority — and she’s counting on us to have her back against anything they throw her way.

The truth is that it is not going to be easy to take on Mitch McConnell and his army of right-wing megadonors. But if we all stand together with Tammy, she can take them on and win.
