Republicans are attacking Jon Tester, Sherrod Brown, Bob Casey, Tammy Baldwin, and Jacky Rosen with LIES about Social Security and Medicare.
In new negative digital ads, the NRSC — Senate Republicans’ campaign arm — accuses Democrats of “putting Medicare and Social Security at risk.”
This is a blatant lie. Republicans are the ones who have called for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to be defunded. The NRSC’s own 2022 plan called for MASSIVE cuts to these popular, invaluable programs.
Unlike the GOP, our Battleground Democrats are committed to defending and expanding Social Security and Medicare. Senators Tester, Rosen, Baldwin, Casey, and Brown are strong supporters of these programs and have repeatedly voted to protect them for years to come.
We must push back against the GOP’s lies — that’s why we’ve set an emergency goal of raising $5,000 by the February 28th end-of-month deadline.
