By now you’ve probably heard that Senator Dianne Feinstein is retiring after an incredible career serving our country. This also means there is about to be an open Senate seat in my home state of California.

So now it’s my turn to make a major announcement… I have decided I will NOT be running for Senate this year (nor was I ever really considering it.) 🤣🤣🤣

The truth is I love representing my community in Congress and proving to them that government can be used for good. I also know the best way I can continue to protect our democracy from Donald Trump is by holding one of the most competitive House seats blue.

Republicans are going to spend millions to win this seat to defend their majority. And I’m ready to work everyday to not let that happen. So I’m asking, will you please donate now to help me protect our Democratic firewall and take back the House?

I’m proud to be from the Valley - my heart is here and my work is here.

However, I’m really afraid that if we don’t protect my seat and take back the House next year, Republicans could have total control over Congress - regardless of who wins California’s Senate race. And that will have devastating consequences for our country.
