Governor Katie Hobbs

John,

This weekend marks the Grand Canyon National Park’s 104th anniversary!

If you know me personally, you know I love to hike. It’s one of my favorite ways to stay active, and Arizona is the perfect place to explore thanks to our gorgeous public lands – especially the Grand Canyon’s breathtaking landscape.

And as we celebrate another year of enjoying the canyon’s beauty, it gives me all the more reason to advocate for protecting our parks.

We can’t ignore the threats of climate change. Wildfires, drought, and extreme heat are actively harming our parks and land.

Yet earlier this month, extremist Republicans in our state legislature tried to push forward a do-nothing budget that falls short of addressing these growing problems. So I vetoed it.

Now, I’m working to get a bipartisan, effective budget passed that will invest in conserving our natural landscapes, improving our parks, and doing everything we can to make Arizona the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

If you agree that we must take action to preserve and protect Arizona’s public lands, add your name now.

Thanks for showing your support for our state’s gorgeous lands.
