We have one last chance to stop gerrymandering before voting districts are
redrawn – and an amendment in Virginia would do it. But politicians don't
have to vote on it: they can ignore it until it's too late.

The only reason politicians will act is if they are put in the spotlight
and hear from people across America. It's up to us to light a fire under
them and force them to act.

Gerrymandering rigs elections and undermines our Republic by taking power
from voters. It’s an unAmerican practice that allows politicians to pick
their voters, instead of the other way around.

Virginia lawmakers can end this corrupt practice, or they could choose to
let it continue. 72% of Virginia voters support the anti-gerrymandering
amendment – but it's just one of hundreds of bills they are considering
this legislative session. If they don’t pass it now, we’ll have to wait
another 10 years before we can try again.

That’s why we need people in every single state to show Virginia
politicians that ending gerrymandering is a priority.
