I’m still feeling fired up from President Biden’s State of the Union, especially when he talked about investing in good-paying union jobs, education, and more.

We recommitted ourselves to NOT “sunsetting” Social Security and Medicare as some of the more extreme members have suggested and recommitted ourselves to not holding the American people hostage in debt ceiling discussions.

However, we know that under Kevin McCarthy’s leadership, House Republicans will do everything they can to stop our Democratic agenda of supporting workers, uplifting families, and investing in our communities.

Connecticut’s 5th district is one of the most competitive in the country – and my team and I are preparing for my re-election already. If we want to take back the House in 2024, keeping CT-05 is a MUST.

We set a goal of raising another $5,000 before the end of the month so we can go toe-to-toe with dark money interests that will surely flood our district just like they did in 2022. Will you chip in $25 today so we can keep a teacher and advocate in this seat?
