[1]National Nurses United
This is heartbreaking.
The United States is the wealthiest country on Earth. And yet, despite all
our supposed riches, millions of people are pushed to the extremes every
day just to provide something as fundamental as medicine for their
children. Take a look at this headline:
[1]CNN: Man who robbed pharmacy gave clerk a note that said, 'I'm sorry, I
have a sick child.'
It’s barbaric. An utter disgrace. And contrary to what pundits and
lobbyists will tell you, milquetoast half-measures aren’t going to fix it.
But Medicare for All will.

Together, we’re working to build a future where this story will never be
repeated. A future where families aren’t pushed to extremes for basic
health care needs.
The pharmaceutical companies that stand in our way will do anything to
protect their bottom lines.
They’ll always choose profits and greed over the lives of sick children
like this little girl.
And they’ll spend hundreds of millions to achieve their goals. But we can
out-organize them.

We’ve been on the front lines of this fight for a long time, Firstname,
and we’ve gained so much ground. But we can’t stop now.
In solidarity,
