Friends,

I'm writing you from abroad; I'm spending the Fourth of July with our troops overseas.

First and foremost — thank you so much. Hundreds of you stepped up to the plate last month and we hit our FEC end of quarter goal out of the park!

With so much at stake during this critical moment in American history, it means the world to me and my team that you’re standing by our side. We’re fighting some David versus Goliath battles in Congress and your support has been critical.

With mounting assaults on the precious freedoms that have made America a beacon of hope, it’s up to all of us this 4th of July to renew the commitment to protecting our rights.

This 4th of July, when you’re at a parade, BBQ, or waving our flag, I hope you think of the strong men and women on the frontlines of the fight for American democracy. Take a few moments to consider what the nation we love is currently facing – and commit to doing all you can to protect and preserve our hard-won freedoms.
