John —

Wow.

It’s been a truly amazing first week on our “California for All” tour, as
we kicked off our campaign for the U.S. Senate.

The crowds have been huge, and we are only gathering more and more
momentum.

[ [link removed] ]Before I tell you a bit about what I’ve seen and heard this week from
Californians, can you chip in $10 to power this campaign and keep our
growing momentum going?

We started in Burbank, where over 700 people showed up for our kickoff
rally at the IATSE union hall. As reporters put it, it was “very chilly,”
making the turnout even more impressive.

At that event, we announced the endorsement of the biggest union in my
district, and one of the giants in the state – IATSE. They are the ones
behind the Hollywood magic. Stagehands, wardrobe, hair and makeup,
production and broadcast technicians, designers, audiovisual experts, and
more. They represent more than 54,000 California workers. Absolutely huge.

From there, we went to San Diego, where in addition to breakfast with
Mayor Todd Gloria, and a series of coffees, we held a meet and greet with
students and neighbors at UC San Diego:

We then traveled to Sacramento. Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg
endorsed our campaign (we even did some local TV together). And then over
two hundred showed up for a meet and greet at UC Davis – the biggest
College Democrats chapter in the state. It was standing room only!

In addition to Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorsing our campaign for U.S. Senate
(amazing!), we picked up the endorsement of over 50% of the California
Congressional Delegation.

From Mark Takano, Grace Napolitano, Ted Lieu, Jimmy Gomez, Julia Brownley
and Brad Sherman in the Los Angeles area, to Mike Levin, Juan Vargas, and
Scott Peters in San Diego and Jim Costa in the Central Valley. From Doris
Matsui and Mike Thompson in the Napa and Sacramento area to Anna Eshoo, to
Jared Huffman, Eric Swalwell, Jimmy Panetta and Kevin Mullin in the Bay
Area. All of them endorsed our campaign in the first two weeks!

In San Francisco, we met with local elected officials, sat down with
LGBTQ+ leaders, and then held a meet and greet at Manny’s in the Mission
District. We had a line around the block, and the place was packed.
Absolutely incredible!

It was then back to Los Angeles, where we held a Latino outreach
roundtable with State Senator María Elena Durazo, and were endorsed by 8
IBEW local unions at a taco BBQ.

If you can’t tell, I’m excited. Because after just week one of the
“California for All” kickoff tour we have real momentum. And with your
support, our momentum will only continue to grow.

Now it’s off to Santa Barbara! More soon, and thanks for being along for
the ride!

— Adam
