Your
Rose to Our Lady for the Unborn
Dear Friend,
This week for the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, as hundreds of
thousands of Americans march for life in Washington D.C. and other
cities throughout America, offer a rose and your personal
intentions to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn,
on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.
Let us beseech her to put an end to the horrific practice of
abortion, and to grant hope, strength and forgiveness to all women who
are considering it.
Reaffirm before the Blessed Virgin Mary your courageous and
passionate stand in defense of the unborn!
I really don't want you to miss out.....

One of the fruits of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s apparitions in the
1500s was the conversion of millions of Aztecs to the True Faith and
the elimination of their practice of human sacrifice!
We are horrified to hear stories of the Aztecs, who cut out the
hearts of their victims and lodged their heads upon poles to appease
their pagan gods.
But are we not also living in a culture of death now?
Is the slaughter of millions of innocent unborn children
through the practice of abortion any different from the human
sacrifice of the Aztecs?
The sin of abortion has claimed more than 1.5 billion innocent
lives worldwide just in the last 38 years. In America alone, more than
60 million children have been massacred since Roe vs. Wade made
abortion legal in 1973.
As hundreds of thousands of Americans march for life this
month in Washington D.C. and other cities throughout
America, offer
a rose and our personal intentions to Our Lady
of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn, on behalf of those who cannot
speak for themselves. Let us beseech her to crush the
horrific practice of abortion, and to grant hope to all women who are
considering it.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, by appearing as an expectant mother, showed
the Aztecs that human life is sacred. She wore a black maternity band
around her waist, and around her neck hung a black cross, to represent
that she is a bearer and a follower of the One True God.
Our Lady of Guadalupe’s message of conversion brought a new dignity
to the Aztec people. No longer did they worship the pagan gods of
sacrifice. Instead, they turned away from their evil practices and
toward Our Lord Jesus Christ. From 1531-1538, eight million natives of
Mexico converted to Catholicism!
Now, let us pray fervently for an end to abortion in our times.
Offer Our Lady a rose and ask her to intercede for us in ending our
culture of death and in saving innocent souls!

One of our team members has a great devotion to Our Lady of
Guadalupe. He will be making his annual pilgrimage to visit the
miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at her Shrine in Mexico
City.
And this provides you and me with an amazing opportunity to show
our love to Our Blessed Mother and to offer an act of homage to her on
behalf of the innocent unborn.
This is where your rose offering comes in. You can send one rose or
many for $3 each to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each rose is offered on
behalf of one unborn child.

It is a wonderful spiritual experience for you and me, and it would
be very pleasing to Our Blessed Mother, who herself lovingly gifted
Juan Diego with roses from the frozen ground during her apparitions in
the winter of 1531.
What mother is not pleased when receiving a fragrant rose from her
children?
Cardinal Raymond Burke, a great devotee of Our Lady of Guadalupe,
highlights:
“At the time of the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe, it
was ignorance of the faith that was leading the Native Americans to
violate the natural moral law through the diabolical practice of
massive human sacrifice.”
Today it is once again ignorance and lack of faith that is leading
men and women to “commit acts of violence against their innocent
and defenseless brothers and sisters who are depending upon them for
protection and care!”
“Our Lady of Guadalupe taught both the Native Americans and the
Europeans the mystery of God’s mercy and love and thus drew them
together in love of one another, into unity and peace, as one people
of God.”

Last year 6,243 roses were presented to Our Lady at her miraculous
shrine in Mexico City.
Let’s load up my colleague, John, with more roses than last year
and even more intentions to place before the miraculous image of Our
Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
May Our Lady of Guadalupe bless you and your loved ones! And may
she see our roses and hear our prayers.
