Rep. Troy E. Nehls Attends Judiciary Committee Field Hearing in Yuma, Arizona Regarding Border Crisis

In Yuma, my Judiciary Committee colleagues and I saw firsthand the effects of Biden's 'America Last' policies. The Border Patrol is overworked, their hospital is overrun, and this is just one example of a border city. As I said at the Hearing, it is past time that President Biden invoke the Guarantee Clause to protect states from the invasion we are experiencing at our southern border. Our witnesses all agreed this invasion was not happening under President Trump. I’m committed to putting America First, and I will continue to work with my Judiciary colleagues on putting an end to Joe Biden's blatant disregard for U.S. law. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tools to Help Taxpayers Through Tax Filing Season

The IRS recommends trying the following to self-help resources available to taxpayers 24/7: IRS.gov offers a variety of online tools to help taxpayers answer common tax questions. For example, taxpayers can search the Interactive Tax Assistant, Tax Topics and Frequently Asked Questions to find answers. IRS Online Account gives taxpayers secure access to personal tax account information including balance, payments and tax records with previous year’s adjusted gross income information.   IRS Free File provides eligible taxpayers who want to prepare their own returns free tax preparation and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free tax help from certified volunteers at thousands of sites across the country.   If you have any IRS issue, please fill out this form and a caseworker from my office will reach out to you.

The Office of Rep. Troy E. Nehls is Seeking Interns For Our District Office

We're seeking full-time interns for our Richmond district office. Current college students and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Intern responsibilities include answering and logging constituent phone calls, assisting staff with special projects, casework, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should be interested in public policy, politics, and government and is willing to learn more about the legislative process to serve the constituents of Texas’s 22nd Congressional District.
