POV Alumni Secure Spots on the Oscar Nominations 2020 List
This Oscar season, POV alumni filmmakers earned nominations in several categories including Best Live Action Short, Best Documentary Short, and Best Documentary Feature. Cheer on Marshall Curry, Laura Nix, and Feras Fayyad as we tune in to see who will take home the gold.

The application and guidelines for the Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship will open no later than February 4. This program provides two years of support for artists to create new work and/or pursue artistic and career development opportunities.
The IDFAcademy Summer School 2020 is a training program held in Amsterdam designed for directors making their first or second feature documentary. The program supports 16 creative documentary projects, 8 in the script phase and 8 in the rough cut phase. Applications are open until February 20.
The Enterprise Production Grant is now accepting applications until March 1. Filmmakers can apply for up to $100,000 in production grant support for feature-length documentary projects. Contact [email protected] with additional questions.
