ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A proposed expansion of the University of California’s admission requirements in science could improve the college readiness of the state’s high school graduates. But it might reduce eligibility, especially among underrepresented and disadvantaged groups. Niu Gao will provide an overview of this and other eligibility issues, and Julien Lafortune will moderate a panel discussion about how UC eligibility should be determined.
This event is supported with funding from the Sutton Family Fund.
