Hi John, 2 out of 3 women want to date a partner who is supportive of their views on abortion. Surprised? A recent study on singles in America found that public policy has an influence on singles’ dating lives. They found that Overturning Roe v. Wade has led to greater sex and dating hesitation. Basically, this study found that the government trying to get into our pants is a major turn off. I fully agree. The good news is that this study also found that voting is hot. The majority of singles in this study want a partner who is politically aware and engaged. 31% of singles said it’s a no-go if a potential partner has no opinion or is apolitical, 24% would avoid a date who is not planning to vote, 28% don’t want a partner who isn’t registered to vote, and 22% say it’s a deal breaker if their date didn’t vote in the last election. Who doesn’t want to date a politically active, voting enthusiast of a daddy? (Or mommy?) . . . I know I sure do. If you want elected officials who understand the impact of public policy in the bedroom, I’m your candidate. Please give a contribution of $69 to our campaign and tell the government to get out of our pants.
