John — Would you trust elites
like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg with personal documents like your birth
certificate, driver’s license, or passport just for making an account on
Twitter or Facebook? What about your kids?

Josh Hawley’s new legislation to “protect kids online” would require us
to. Just read the bill text for yourself:

[ [link removed] ]From the text of Josh Hawley's MATURE Act: 2) AGE VERIFICATION PROCESS
REQUIREMENTS — The requirements specified in this paragraph are, with
respect to an age verification process and a social media platform, that
the platform require any individual who attempts to create an account on
the platform to provide the platform with A) the individual's full legal
name; B) the individual's date of birth; and C) a scan, image, or upload
of government-issued identification of the individual that verifies the
information required under subparagraphs (A) and (B)... 2)
GOVERNMENT-ISSUED IDENTIFICATION — The term government-issued
identification means, with respect to an individual, a government-issued
document that demonstrates the individual's identity and age, including —
(A) a passport or visa; (B) a birth certificate; (C) a driver's license...

I’m not interested in co-parenting with Josh Hawley and his creepy Big
Brother BS — and I bet you aren’t either.

Josh Hawley is so obsessed with controlling us, he'd require every
American (including teen minors!) who makes a social media account
surrender sensitive personal documents to Big Tech giants… The same kind
of documents you’d need to get a Social Security card, and the same Big
Tech giants known for exposing data for hundreds of millions of users.

We can’t give Josh six more years to control us in the U.S. Senate.
Between now and Election Day, we’re going to hold him accountable on
issues like this — but your support is how we’re going to get that message
in front of Missouri voters.

American families, please rush your first donation of
$10 or whatever you can to my grassroots campaign today.

I’ve said for a long time that these social media companies have blood on
their hands. They’re hurting our kids. But Hawley’s plan makes all of us
less safe by giving Big Tech giants even more power over our families and
even more of our personal information.

We need real action, not more campaign props from phonies like Josh. We
need to end Section 230’s obscene protections for social media giants,
reject the corporate judges who keep shielding Big Tech from
accountability, and we need to investigate and prosecute the mega-rich
corporate executives who are putting our kids in danger.

That’s why we’re building a movement to kick Josh Hawley out of the U.S.
Senate next year.

Thanks for helping us get it done,

Lucas Kunce
