Hi John,

First off, thank you for voting in Tuesday’s primary contest. It’s clear you also got the word out! Turnout was historic for a winter primary. If you’re like me, you’re excited to work to get Judge Janet Protawiesicz elected as a Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court!

While that election has staggering implications for Wisconsin we’re not stopping there. We’re endorsing up and down the ballot for April 4. I encourage you to check out all of our endorsements here. Wisconsin Supreme Courthttps://conservationvoters.org/elections/the-2023-spring-election [[link removed]]
Judge Janet Protasiewicz is the candidate who knows Wisconsin values – hard work, fairness, and integrity. She’ll decide cases based on the facts and the law. The balance of the Wisconsin Supreme Court will be decided on April 4. It’s imperative the court does not fall into the hands of MAGA extremists who care more about their personal agenda than the people of Wisconsin.

State Senate District 8
Jodi Habush Sinykin has spent her career as an advocate for clean water. As an environmental lawyer, there is nobody more qualified to go to Madison to protect the people and places that we hold dear. This special election in the suburbs north of Milwaukee is an opportunity to flip a seat, break the GOP supermajority and reign in anti-conservation, anti-democracy forces in the senate.

Our largest spring independent program ever
We’re serious about this election. Last fall, thanks to you, Wisconsin Conservation Voters IEC ran the largest independent canvass program in the state, and this April we are on track to do it again. Canvassers are already talking to voters throughout Dane County and Senate District 8, asking voters to support Judge Janet Protasiewicz and Jodi Habush Sinykin.

We’ve already secured funding to knock on a total of 85,500 doors, and with your help, we can do even more. We are well on our way to making sure pro-conservation, pro-democracy candidates win in April.

With your help – your volunteer hours, your financial gifts, and your vote – we can make significant progress toward a cleaner, more beautiful, and more fair Wisconsin. We are confident and excited about our plan–but we can always do more. Your investment could mean another piece of mail for an important local race, another thousand postcards for volunteers to send, or even another office full of door-knockers.

It's up to us.

Thanks for being a conservation voter,
Seth Hoffmeister
