John, this is big – national media outlets are reporting on the work we’re doing here at Women Win Wisconsin!
The Washington Post just highlighted Women Win Wisconsin in a piece about reproductive rights becoming a unifying issue in our state.
According to Jennifer Rubin at The Washington Post , "No single issue β€” and certainly no U.S. Supreme Court decision β€” in recent memory has so catalyzed the Democratic base" (read the full article here [[link removed]] ).

John, we're excited to be receiving so much statewide – and even national – attention, but there's still work to be done. Women Win Wisconsin PAC is doing whatever it takes to elect pro-choice candidates. Can you chip in any amount today to help us keep organizing for pro-choice champions up and down the ballot? More than 60 percent of Wisconsin voters want abortion to be legal in all or most circumstances, but right now we’re stuck with an archaic 1849 abortion ban.
John, we can move Wisconsin out of the 19th century if we elect proven, pro-choice fighters this April.
On April 4, Wisconsinites will vote to decide who will be on our Supreme Court for the next decade. Women Win Wisconsin is fighting hard to elect Judge Janet Protasiewicz and restore reproductive rights in our state. Her MAGA opponent is endorsed by every major anti-choice group in Wisconsin and would make sure our reproductive healthcare laws are stuck in 1849 for the next ten years. We can’t let that happen, John.
On the same day, Wisconsinites in the 8th Senate District will determine if Republicans can retain their supermajority in our State Senate. Jodi Habush Sinykin, the official Democratic nominee, is a born-and-raised Wisconsinite, mom, environmental attorney, and pro-choice advocate. Women Win Wisconsin is doing everything to turn out votes for Jodi and reject her anti-choice opponent.
John, Women Win Wisconsin is stepping up to fight anti-choice extremism in our state, but we can’t do it alone – especially when the WI GOP are fighting just as hard to keep us all in the past.
We need you to step up to support the rallies we're hosting and organizing we're doing to elect these candidates.
Together, we can restore abortion access in Wisconsin once and for all. John, will you step up and make a grassroots contribution today so that we can continue to battle back against anti-choice extremists? >> [[link removed]]

The power to win elections now and in the foreseeable future is with pro-choice Wisconsinites and our fight for our rights.

With the future of our democracy and reproductive freedom at stake, former Wisconsin State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski launched an initiative building on the power of pro-choice women.
The fall of Roe v. Wade reinstated Wisconsin’s cruel abortion ban from 1849 that provides no exceptions for rape or incest and could jail or fine doctors. But we know the right-wing won’t stop there. Governor Evers has already vetoed nine anti-abortion bills that passed the GOP-controlled legislature, and when he called for a special special to repeal the 1849 law, Republicans gaveled in and out in less than a minute.
At Women Win Wisconsin, we believe the key to stopping the GOP is to activate the overwhelming majority of voters who support reproductive freedom. A recent Marquette University Law School poll showed 80% of Wisconsin voters are concerned with the change in abortion policy now that abortion is illegal in the state. These voters can make the difference in Wisconsin races that are often decided by only a few hundred votes.
Women Win Wisconsin will make sure pro-choice voters know exactly who’s going to fight for their reproductive rights and freedoms. We back pro-choice women running in Wisconsin’s most competitive races, and we’re excited to support Democratic victories up and down the ballot.
There are critical spring elections on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 and Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
