Today is the first day in the Senate impeachment trial where House Democrats are presenting the case and evidence against Trump.

Unfortunately, because of rules that Mitch McConnell forced the Senate to pass at almost 2am in the morning last night (while no one was watching), there have been no witnesses, no testimony, and no new evidence.

This has been Mitch McConnell’s plan all along: Rush through a rigged and sham “trial” that can hardly even be called a trial at all, acquit Donald Trump, and hide as much of the truth as possible from the American people.

It’s a cover-up, plain and simple.

Luckily, Mitch McConnell is up for reelection this November, and we have a chance to end his reign of terror in the Senate once and for all by defeating him at the ballot box.

We’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 to help Democrat Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell in 2020, but while we’ve made incredible progress toward our goal, right now we’re still falling $110,017 short.
