It’s getting hard to keep track of all of Ken’s personal accomplishments in the legal world.
Friend,
Whenever we think we’ve hit the bottom of the barrel with Texas Republican AG Ken Paxton and that he can’t possibly sink any lower… somehow, against all odds, he surprises us and we dive even deeper into the trenches of ridiculousness!
Yup, the Trump-loving, right-wing conspiracy theorist Texas AG is at it again. You see, not only is Ken under felony indictment on state charges of securities fraud, but he’s also being sued by four of his former top deputies who allege he improperly fired them after they accused him of crimes. And earlier this month, they reached a tentative agreement in which Ken would have to apologize and pay $3.3 million to these whistleblowers in a settlement. Now we know that Ken is good at a lot of things (lying, crime-ing, and, uh, more crime-ing?), but apologizing and owning up to his actions? We’re not so sure.
Between this, the felony indictment, and the Texas State Bar complaint alleging professional misconduct, it’s getting hard to keep track of all of Ken’s personal accomplishments in the legal world. But seriously, all jokes aside, we’ve got to fight hard to get corrupt Republican AGs like Ken Paxton out of office. So please, pitch in whatever you can and join our constant efforts to elect Dem AGs across the country.
