I never thought I would run for office, John, and I’m guessing you haven’t really either.

I didn’t see politicians who looked like me growing up. I didn’t have a wealthy network of donors who would fund my campaign. And I didn’t care about the glory or the power.

But I knew I wanted to fight to make a difference for my community, my loved ones, and future generations. And I know you do too.

That’s exactly why we need to run for office, John. Because voices like yours and mine are NEEDED if we are going to fight Republican extremism, implement progressive policies, and build a brighter future for everyone.
