Hi John, we wanted to reach out because tomorrow is the two year anniversary of the House passing the Equality Act – landmark legislation that if signed into law would extend anti-discrimination protections to all areas of life.

Anti-discrimination protections are guaranteed in our home state of Maine, but Mainers run the risk of facing discrimination when they travel out-of-state. Mainers know the value of these laws, which is why they upheld the state’s anti-discrimination law in a 2005 referendum. That’s why Jared is leading the charge for equal rights by cosponsoring and voting to pass such an important bill.
